What is K-Date?

K-Date Comix combines matchmaking and comedy in a completely new and entertaining way to find love! Part comedy show, part singles mixer, K-Date Comix takes the dreaded awkward moments of a first date and adds a healthy dose of humor.

K-Date Comix is inspired by a Korean nightclub phenomenon called “booking” where forceful waiters literally drag strangers to different tables for impromptu meet-and-greets. After having a drink together, the new “couples” can choose to go their separate ways, or stick around and see how well their waiter has paired them. K-Date Comix adds a hilarious twist to the custom… after performing short routines, professional comedians do the matchmaking instead of waiters, with running commentary adding to the fun. The laughs and love-sparks fly as comedians try to do what Asian mothers attempt every day… hook people up!

Created and hosted by comedian Helen Hong from E! Entertainment and ImaginAsian TV, the show features top national comedians of all races. K-Date Comix is Asian-inspired but is open to EVERYONE!
